Volumes I II IV and V are in later dark green cloth gilt labels on spine. These volumes are entirely uncut. The back covers of volumes IV and V are water stained text not affected. Volume IV is later calf circa 1875 over boards spine a bit rubbed and chipped. This volume has been trimmed in rebinding and is 1" shorter than the other 4 volumes. Additionally the following defects are found: Volume I lacks the half-title; Volume II has the half-title but lacks the printed title; Volume III is all present; Volume IV lacks the half-title and the printed title the first leaf being the sectional title; and Volume V lacks the half-title.
