The very scarce first English language translation of this work translated from the original Latin of Origen of Alexandria by James Bellamy.Written around 248 AD this is a major apologetics work by Origen of Alexandria which counters the work of pagan philosopher and controversialist Celsus who had written an attack of Christianity in 'The True Word'.Rebound in cloth with endpapers renewed.
