One of a small selection of deluxe volumes produced using an innovative technique devised by the printers Edmonds & Remnants to create heavily and intricately embossed leather. Equally luxurious within with 14 chromolithograph plates of flowers with verse by Bacon opposite also done using chromolithography in a manuscript style and printed by Jones himself. All edges gilt. Decorative ivy pattern end-papers. Armorial bookplate of William Leslie of Warthill to front pastedown. Collated and complete. Graded as 'Fair' condition as the front board has separated at the spine leaving most of the internal pages and the spine covering loose. There is an abrasion to the upper edge of the cover.
