The premier of this play featured a set designed by Georges Barbier. Some of the additions are undoubtedly in Rostand's hand others are by Roze. Rostand was the son of Edmond Rostand and was openly homosexual a friend of Jean Cocteau and an author of poems novels and plays. hardcover
