The illumination in mostly striking colours has been accentuated in gold. Below he illuminated borders is a tiny printed note stating from what period the inspiration for the illustrations has come. Volume nine is a little worn to the head of the spine whilst volume thirteen is missing a slither of calf to the tail of the spine.
