In 16° gr. pp. 35 con una grande carta di Odessa e i suoi contorni secondo il disegno fatto nel 1809 dal Sig. re Lapie Ing. re Geogr.fo, incisa in rame cm 45 x 36 rip. al fondo, leg. in carta.
Disegno in sanguigna, due nudi al recto e verso su foglio di mm. 280x420. I tratti mostrano affinità con i disegni di Gaetano Gandolfi. Rigorosamente definito con la tecnica del tratteggio incrociato, che unisce la definizione plastica del volume ai passaggi graduati della luce, questo nudo virile assiso mostra strette affinità con quelli di Ubaldo Gandolfi (San Matteo della Decima 1728 - Bologna 1781), della famiglia di pittori, fratello di Gaetano e zio di Mauro, uno degli ultimi rappresentanti del classicismo bolognese e rinnovatore nello stesso tempo di questa tradizione sotto la spinta della pittura veneta del Settecento. I Gandolfi furono i maggiori protagonisti dell'Accademia Clementina a Bologna. Il nostro foglio si avvicina ad alcuni Nudi virili di Ubaldo Gandolfi, come quello della Pinacoteca di Brera, Milano, e della Fondazione Cini di Venezia (Donatella Biagi Maino, 1990, figg. XV e XVI). E ancor più per l'uso serrato del tratteggio, agli Studi di nudi femminili dell'Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna (Donatella Biagi Maino, 1990, figg. XIX-XXI).
Romanzo francese della prima prima metà del XIII secolo. "Cantafavola" composta in parti in versi, destinate ad essere cantate e in parti in prosa, destinate ad essere recitate, il cui tema è l'idillio di due adolescenti, Alcassino, figlio del conte di Beaucaire, e Nicoletta, schiava saracena. Dopo molte vicissitudini i due riescono a sposarsi, grazie soprattutto al coraggio di Nicoletta. Matita e gessetto bianco misure: mm 295 x 212 Studio preparatorio su carta cerulea raffigurante un frate colto frontalmente in piedi con le braccia aperte in segno di accoglienza. L'ovale del volto è solo accennato, l'autore indaga qui gli effetti di luce sulla superficie dell'abito. Il saio scende morbido fino ai piedi creando profonde pieghe e le maniche, riccamente drappeggiate, sono descritte mediante tratti netti, giochi chiaroscurali; l'uso del gessetto bianco conferisce al tessuto una certa plasticità. In basso, sia a destra che sinistra del soggetto principale, altri due studi delle sole maniche all'altezza del polso. Il tipo di supporto e il segno fanno pensare ad un artista lombardo ma data la mancanza di dettagli è difficile individuare una corrispondenza con una composizione nota. Al verso del foglio studi a penna, probabilmente degli elementi decorativi per una decorazione architettonica. A sinistra due putti, posti sopra un piedestallo sorreggono sopra le loro teste un cesto di frutta e fiori. Alla loro sinistra un altro fanciullo seminudo colto frontalmente afferra nella mano sinistra una spada e nella destra alza un oggetto verso lo spettatore. Ottimo stato di conservazione eccetto qualche piega nei margini del foglio.
