Pristine tight limited edition unspecified of this French coming-of-age fiction or Bildungsroman first published in 1830. This sharp copy bears a fine and bold signature addition from the popular 1954 film adaptation: Tipped to front flyleaf is a heavy stock 5" X 3" card signed hugely in black ink by DANIELLE DARRIEUX 1917-2017; portrays Madame de Rénal who also dates it 20 September 1970 at upper right.
