Vol I: iv iii i blank 232 pages including a table. Vol II: iv 330 pages including a table. Starting at the beginning about three-quarters 75% of the pages have minor worming at the bottom margin affecting edges of text on several pages. Title page of first volume with previous owner's name written twice in pen "L. Langlois-Longueville." Preliminary and final blanksheets are toned as are both half-titles and title pages. Text is otherwise quite clean with only an occasional presence of slight foxing. A few pages are starting to loosen. Hardcover; bound in marbled paper-covered boards and brown leather spine; hinges are moderately rubbed and spine has slight creasing and wear as do the extremities of the boards. Text is in French.
