Three legal-sized pages of typscript outlining rights royalties advance etc. The contract is SIGNED "Sue Grafton Schmidt." Some creasing to the thin paper with a chip in the margin of the first two pages from a removed staple. The source of the 1970's movie "Lolly-Madonna XXX" starring Rod Steiger. Robert Ryan and Jeff Bridges. A work of mainstream fiction it concerns two families living in a bleak sparsely populated area whose quarrel over a plot of land that separates their farms erupts into a violent feud. The novel was adapted into the 1973 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture Lolly-Madonna XXX directed by Richard C. Sarafian and starring Rod Steiger Jeff Bridges Randy Quaid and Gary Busey. This is a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer file copy with four MGM ink stamps to the front endpaper. Small octavo. Original orange cloth binding with gilt titles.
