1973056609Fleet Street London: Frederick Muller Limited. A nice copy that looks about fine - but very close exam reveals a possible re-glueing at the hinge-joint at back of book. Still very tight and nice. On the copyright page there is a Statement "First published in Great Britain in 1972 by . Muller . etc. and then directly underneath is this "Copyright 1973 Arthur L Kipling and Hugh L. King" - no other dates or printings indicated. 468 pages. The jacket looks better than poor because it is in new mylar - but it is poor condition whith large tear repairs at spine and a few chips out. The Booklovers library was founded in 1900 and within a short time it was lending and mailing books to 1000s of subscribers all over the United States. Unfortunately the revenue could not be sustained and the company declared bankruptcy in 1905.
