Bound in brick red cloth with gilt titles to spine and front board along with b/w line illustration to front board in very good condition with creases to top corners and minimal rubbing of gilt. Inside near fine except for creases to very tips of all corner pages. A very nice Folio Society set of these classic tales. The Second Jungle Book Kipling's sequel to The Jungle Book was first published in 1895 it features five stories about Mowgli and three unrelated stories with all but one set in India. Condition: Both books are in very good condition. There is a little bumping and rubbing to the board's tips and minor spotting to the page edges. Christ's Hospital school prize label to each volume to the same pupil. Internally the books are clean bar a very little marginal spotting and the bindings are secure.
