Edited by Samuel Roth with associates including at least in name for the first two numbers Ezra Pound and Ford Madox Hueffer. The notorious periodical best remembered and justly reviled for its piracy of the installments from Joyce's WORK IN PROGRESS. While much of the material is reprinted with or without authorization from other sources Carl Rakosi and Louis Zukofsky both make early appearances in this volume.
