Cet “exemplaire d’auteur” lui fut offert par son ami Valéry Larbaud. En 1920 Constantin Weyer avait épousé Germaine Weyer, une cousine de Valéry Larbaud. La bibliothèque de M. Constantin Weyer est devenue après sa mort à sa fille François Constantin Weyer (née en 1921). Le 1er plat de la couverture, le dos, ainsi que les 2 pages de garde du début portent des traces brunes d’une mouillure qui affectent toute la marge intérieure. L’intérieur du volume est frais.
