A lovely fresh clean tight and bright near fine copy in similar glassine jacket which has not been price-clipped but has a slight crease to the extreme head of the spine. The "Special Limited Edition" is bound in the Original deep pink Tussah SILK titled in gilt on the spine and printed on Glastonbury Antique Laid paper. This is housed in the publisher's stiff card slipcase edged in black cloth for 1/2" of the inside edges and all around the outer edges including the spine. The front and rear boards being covered in pink paper with black printed heads of both Author and Artist one front and one rear as Designed by Maeve Gilmore. This is one of only 200 copies but this copy is UNSIGNED and UN-NUMBERED. Publisher's copy. The book is FINE with NO Inscriptions or marks. The Trade Edition seems identical but bound in black cloth/gilt titling to the spine. In the original Very Good Plus/NF dustjacket. fading to white to the base colour of the spine I think But uncertain. Looks Fine. Deep titling Not price-clipped. A former owner's bookplate on the front pastedown under the inner dust-jacket flap. Otherwise NO Inscriptions or marks. Both copies look unread. Excellent copies.
