Numerous black and white drawings by Robinson. The stories included in this book are The Happy Prince The Nightingale and the Rose The Selfish Giant The Devoted Friend and The Remarkable Rocket. Bound in cream vellum boards with gilt spine and front cover titles and decorations. Top two inches of the spine is missing. No previous owner marks. Full color plates are all clean and very bright with no foxing or fading. Text is bright with very little spotting. Binding has significant wear and is cracked but sound with no loose pages. The condition rating of Fair is due to significant wear to covers and very real damage to spine but inside is beautiful. Please note the photo was taken before my ex-girlfriend accidentally ripped off the top 2 inches of the spine. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall . Duckworth & Co. hardcover
