He also planned much of the construction of the Statue of Liberty. In a quarter straight-up grain morocco binding over cloth covered boards doubleur endpapers and gilt to the edges. Externally smart with some shelf wear and rubbing to the boards and spine minor loss to the rear board. Internally firmly bound. Light spotting scattered to the occasional leaf. Bound in half contemporary red morocco with marbled boards raised bands to spine and gilt lettering on spines. There is some rubbing with some discolouring to the spines and occasional scuff marks on the boards but generally a good looking series. The early leaves of each volume have some light foxing but apart from these the contents are generally clean.
