The novel follows Andrzej Kmicic a young Orsha standard-bearer who is to marry Aleksandra Billewiczówna on the will of her grandfather. As the story progresses Kmicic is drawn to defend his homeland but is caught in political webs of intrigue and treason. The novel comes in 3 volumes all of which are in good condition.
