Nominated for several Academy Awards. Elizabeth Taylor was set to play Lygia until production changed hands and instead she makes a cameo as a prisoner. Sophia Loren also makes a cameo her first American film credit. <br/><br/>Set in Rome shot on location in Italy. <br/><br/>8 x 10 inches. We love production extras when they put two dust jackets and two belly bands on the same book! Minor rubbing to the band mostly to the rear panel. The band has three scenes from the movie on it one front one rear one small it on the spine portion. Boards. On the belly band it notes that Quo Vadis has already sold 1500000 copies and is now a Six and a half million dollar MGM Motion picture. Originally printed by Little Brown and Co.
