Bibliofilupplaga detta exemplar bär nummer 68. Upplagans storlek är oklar och det är även osäkert ifall porträttet är bilagt eller tillhör bibliofilupplagan. Oscar Winge 1884-1951 var skådespelare och verksam som chef för Hippodromteatern i Malmö där Nils Poppe och många andra debuterade. Denna bok gavs ut som en hyllning på hans 60-årsdag. unknown

The book features 16 full-page illustrations by Moritz Retzsch. Decorative cloth binding with gilt illustrations and lettering on the covers and spine and gilt page edges on all sides of the text block. Poets include Goethe Friedrich Schiller Ludwig Uhland and Theodor Korner - please see the photos for the complete list of poems.<br /><br />Condition:<br />Light soiling to the covers; clean spine. Bright gilt lettering and illustrations on the covers and spine. Cloth tears at the cover corners. Cloth tears and small bits of cloth missing at the top and bottom edges of the spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. Mild foxing to the text pages throughout the book though heavier foxing on the end papers frontispiece and title page. Heavy tanning to the yellow front and rear end papers. The front yellow end paper has a tiny tear at the outer edge. Name/date 1857 written in ink on the half title page. Overall the book is in Good condition.</p> Willis P. Hazard hardcover
