SIGNED by the author on the ffep with a long personal inscription to actress Marie Windsor whose address label appears on the front pastedown "with hopes that the message here - that we must forgive and come to terms with our demons - has meaning for you." The novel deals with a high-powered female photojournalist whose professional life consumes her: "Work is her reality the rest of life something left aside to be handled after the deadlines." Needless to say this doesn't do wonders for her love life. Marie Windsor to whom the book is inscribed is best remembered by film buffs for her role in Stanley Kubrick's "The Killing."
