Civil Serivce and spent the years 1900 - 1908 with the Crow Tribe then the years 1908-1915 with the Piutes and finally the years 1915 - 1929 with the Papagos People of the Desert. this is her recouontment as told to Cecil P. Dryden who has written his inscription on the front free endpaper and signed "Sincerely your friend." Aug 5 1947.</p><p>The gilt stamping on the board shows soiling and some loss see photo otherwise VG condition with sound binding no internal markings.</p><p>A Very Good signed first edition copy of this recollection of almost 30 years of a life spend with several North American Indian Tribes.</p> The Caxton Press hardcover
