The Heavenly Jazz Concert series were held at the Church of the Heavenly Rest to benefit the Day School which adjoins the church.<br /> <br /> John Haley "Zoot" Sims was a prolific tenor alto and soprano saxophonist who recorded over 100 albums from the 1950s until his death in 1985. Among the musicians Sims recorded with include Pepper Adams Chet Baker Count Basie Ray Charles Al Cohen Miles Davis Benny Goodman Quincy Jones Gerry Mulligan and Sarah Vaughan among others.<br /> <br /> 8 x 13.5 inches.
