In a full morocco binding with light rubbing to joints and back strip tail. Front hinge strained but firmly held. Inscription to front pastedown. Internally firmly bound. Wear and scuffing along spine foxing to endpapers and first and last several pages binding is sound. A rare example of a book inscribed and signed by lexicographer Pierre Larousse.
