This copy includes the slipcase which is in Very Good condition. The book and its contents are in clean bright condition. The text pages are clean and bright. The slipcase is in generally clean condition but has tidemarking / foxing to the bottom front corner and along with front edge. The slipcase also has spots of ground-in dirt and foxing. The top front corner edges of the slipcase gave some bumping and rubbing. "The Red Pony is an episodic novella written by American writer John Steinbeck in 1933. The first three chapters were published in magazines from 19331936 and the full book was published in 1937 by Covici Friede. The stories in the book are tales of a boy named Jody Tiflin. The book has four different stories about Jody and his life on his father's California ranch.
