Based on Norway during World War II the story tells of the military occupation of a small town in Northern Europe by the army of an unnamed nation at war with Great Britain and Russia. In the original cloth binding. With the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart with slight rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Faint damp marks to the boards. Dust wrapper is smart with edge wear and light chipping to the spine head and tail. Internally firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with light spotting to the endpapers.
