ABOUT THE BOOK:- Gone with the Wind is the novel by American writer Margaret Mitchell. It is a sweeping romantic story about the American Civil War from the point of view of the Confederacy. The story is: Set in Clayton County and Atlanta, both in Georgia, during the American Civil War and Reconstruction Era. Written from the perspective of the slaveholder. A Southern plantation fiction. A portrayal of slavery of African Americans, which has been considered controversial, especially by succeeding generations.
