About was a French novelist publicist and journalist who is best known for his satirical novel Le Rois des Montagnes but also wrote a commentary on modern Greece pamphlets on contemporary issues and popular manuals of political economy. The present volume tells the tale of Master Pierre who gives up shepherding to become a solitary hunter until he meets a small girl and attempts to nurse her back to health. Bound in a full red leather binding. Externally generally smart. Lightly rubbed to the boards with a little soiling to the front board. A little rubbed to the head and tail of the spine and front joint. The front hinge is starting but firm. Internally firmly bound. Aside from some very light spotting to the front and rear of the volume pages are bright and clean. Very Good Hachette hardcover
