In 1963 Le Procès-Verbal The Interrogation was awarded the Prix Renaudot and was shortlisted for the Prix Goncourt In 2008 Le Clezio recievd the Nobel Prize in Literature for his life's work as an "author of new departures poetic adventure and sensual ecstasy explorer of a humanity beyond and below the reigning civilization". The book is in decent condition. The paper covers are a little soiled and more noticeably the spine and parts of the rear covers are deeply tanned. There is a small loss at the head of spine and the internals are toned as is usually seen. Spine is a wee cocked but the binding is firm. Had-to-find title in first edition. Gallimard unknown
