A lovely Japanese print designed for children. This beautiful wood block print depicts flowers and butterflies in 25 panels. Omocha-e Japanese toy prints were used as early learning toys for children as they featured various aspects of nature and society. On this print different types of flowers including iris morning glory and hydrangeas and butterflies are shown. These prints were designed for children to cut the panels out to play with.
