Notons néanmoins qu'il manque la planche en couleurs n° 4 de la 3e livraison (état en noir seul, planche déréglée). Envois de l'auteur sur quelques fascicules, à M. Capronnier ; plusieurs planches avec signature "Ch. Carpentier". L'ensemble a paru en 2 séries (livraisons I à X et XI à XXI), qui constituent une "suite de monographies locales et d'aperçus généraux, ne renfermant pas moins de 1120 pages avec 142 [pour 143] planches finement gravées en noir ou coloriées au pinceau".
