With twenty appendices and full general index. The appendices include numerous conversion tables recipes and directions catalogue of farming implements with prices suggestions for a farmer's library tables of old and new names for agricultural chemicals and preparations and similar matter. First published in 1771 Young's 'Farmer's Calendar' was an immediate success swiftly establishing itself as a standard reference.
