The boards are not in bad shape; the corners are not bent; the red titling on the soine has been looked after by the jacket; the text block is firm and square; there are no turned over corners; there are no names written inside; the endpapers are not split; the binding is secure; the jacket has some small losses but it is now protected; the jacket spine has one hole; nothing 'live' on the jacket is lost; it is not price clipped. So in summary here is a first rate thriller writer at the top of his form delivering an excellent story in an extremely rare first printing. I have never seen another copy of this novel.
