His firebombing of Tokyo was considered crucial to the allied victory in the Pacific Theater but resulted in a massive loss of civilian life. Bradbound at top edge with printed studio boilerplate cover title sheet. Very minor use a few short edges tears and smudges to cover title leaf but a rather nice copy of a fragile format. A superimposition script i.e. a detailed post-production script for use by those translating the film for foreign release including prefatory material composed of a special synopsis and full credits. LeMay's script was partially an adaptation of Harold Sherman's play MARK TWAIN drawing as well on other biographical and original material. Additional dialogue was contributed by Harry Chandlee. Frederic March Alexis Smith John Carradine and others starred under the direction of Irving Rapper. This was LeMay's fourth screen credit. Even though a post- production script a rather uncommon format. Warner Brothers unknown books
