Finally our hero learns compassion and achieves tranquillity in a life in the country. This edition contains volumes 1-4 in two books. Bindings are intact. Deep brown leather boards with gilt stamping on spine are scuffed rubbed and quite worn. The leather hinges are cracked with the front board of book one detached. Pieces of the spines are detaching from book one. Owners name on FFEP of book one. Text is age tanned and mottled but appears otherwise unmarked. Price reflects condition.
