Faint signature "Beaton" on front free end-paper. Minor foxing to the prelims and to the fore-edge that has crept into the text block in places. The D/W is priced 7/6 net to the spine as called for and is a good example with a portion of the upper section of the front panel partially torn away with the loss of the title and part of the author's name. An attractive VG copy the binding clean with a little bumping to the corners with the text block edge a little darkened. Complete with the original very good rubbed and nicked D/W which has several small chips at the extremities. The reverse of the D/W has a piece of un-necessary clear tape at the bottom of the spine. Correctly priced 7/6 net to the spine as called for. Very scarce in the D/W. Twelve short stories told by the old soldiers of the Runagates Club.
