Aside from some browning to the tissue guard opposite the frontis that has affected the frontis and title page very mildly and also on the blank endpapers this is a very good bright copy internally. Double gilt ruled borders with floral corner pieces on boards. Board edges with decorative gilt roll. Inner gilt dentelles. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. The cloth is clean and tidy with sharp corners and the gilt on the spine still bright and fresh. A little rubbing to the extremities but this is a superior copy. Scarce in such nice condition.
