This significant book was put together from actual letters by Terry's stepdaughter Judith Lenart . This is as new and extremely rare. Superb article its first publication in the Sunday Times Colour section with great colour photographs by Richard Steedman evoking the Jamaica that Fleming knew. A VG copy. These poorly produced magazines were clearly not meant to be kept for posterity and this one has lasted the test of time remarkably well. A great magazine and quite uncommon these days. "WEEKEND" was a weekly paper published by Associated Newspapers in the 50's and 60's. This edition is a special one as includes the first episode of a serialised 'New ' as of Spring 1960 Ian Fleming James Bond Story 'For Your Eyes Only'.the Book of short stories by Ian Fleming containing 'For Your Eyes only' had been published approximately 4 weeks earlier in April 1960. The Paper is in fantastic condition given that it is over 60 years old; it has obvious light discolouration of paper as to be expected with newsprint but has no significant bends/creases to paper. The serialisation contained a superb colour illustration by Oliver Brabbins of a blonde in a yellow dress wearing a pearl necklace looking down on another woman who appears to have been shot or injured to the head next door to an prostrate man presumably also shot: "Judy's world was so safe. until the strangers called with half a million dollars - and two ugly blazing guns.".
