Virginia Woolf was one of the most prominent authors in the twentieth century modernist movement and a pioneer in the use of stream of consciousness as a narrative device. She was one of the founding members of the prominent artistic and literary Bloomsbury Group. During a career of almost forty years as a literary journalist she mastered the art of writing personal essays reviews biographical studies and commemorative articles a selection of which is collected in these volumes. One of the most renowned work by Woolf is the popular essay A Room of One's Own first published in 1929. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with only minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities.
