br. Sul matrimonio sono stati scritti e si scrivono una quantità enorme di libri. Ci sono perfino manuali per costruire un matrimonio da sogno in cui ognuno dei coniugi possa realizzarsi pienamente. Ma che cosa ne sarebbe del nostro matrimonio se scoprissimo che l'intento fondamentale di Dio è quello di renderci santi piuttosto che felici? È questo l'interrogativo dell'autore da cui scaturisce la scoperta del valore spirituale e profetico di tutti gli elementi del matrimonio.
