Qualche piccola imperfezione lungo i bordi.
A Lyon par Pierre Colombier 1622. Petit In-4 relié pleine percaline verte, pièce de titre en dos (reliure postérieure, début XXe). iv + 54 pages, bandeau, lettrine. Trace d'humidité en marge sans grande gravité, exemplaire un peu court de marge en partie supérieure sur les dernières pages, un petit manque de papier sans perte de texte en marge des deux premières pages. L'auteur, Jurisconsulte, né et mort à Montbrison était Avocat au Présidial de Lyon, Avocat du Roi au Présidial puis Baillage de Montbrison. Publié à l'occasion de la visite royale de Louis XIII à Lyon à la faveur de laquelle la ville aura engagé de lourdes dépenses pour des cérémonies somptueuses.Très bon exemplaire de cet ouvrage rare, non signalé dans Brunet.

Prima non comune edizione, completa di tutte le tavole, di questo straordinaria testimonianza di una delle più celebri e complete collezioni di pizzi o “Dentelles” al mondo conservata presso il celebre “Musée des Tissus et des Arts décoratifs” a Lyon ideato intorno alla metà dell’Ottocento. Prima rara edizione completa di tutte le sue parti di questa importantissima pubblicazione che riproduce la celeberrima collezione di pizzi (Dentelles) antichi conservati presso il “Musée Royaux des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels a Bruxelles”. Questa prima edizione è rarissima mentre la seconda edizione uscita nel 1912, identica a questa edizione, risulta essere molto meno rara. Opera completa di tutte le sue parti. Overloop fu Membro del Consiglio di Amministrazione del Museo Reale di Storia Naturale del Belgio, del Museo Etnografico della sezione Arti Decorative e direttore dei Musei Reali delle Arti Decorative e Industriali. Fu anche l’organizzatore della sezione scientifica dell’Expo di Bruxelles del 1897. Fu uno dei massimi esperti di pizzi antichi del suo tempo. First edition, very rare.
