Both volumes bound in half vellum over marbled boards with paper title labels to spine bindings in good condition with some marking to vellum some rubbing to boards and edges and loss to parts of title labels. Inside both volumes bookplate of H. Martin Mowll Baron Henry Martyn Mowll of the Cinque Ports to front pastedowns. There is smatterings of foxing throughout books worse at the beginning and end of volumes with Vol II slightly cleaner. The fold out plates are Foxed with some transfer. A reasonable tightly bound set with an interesting provenance and extra biography of author.
