Quelques rousseurs aux premières pages, qui deviennent ensuite très faibles et marginales. Charnières et chasses frottées, coins enfoncés. Dos en très bon état, intérieur propre et plutôt frais. Exemplaire élégant et d'une lecture agréable si ce n'est son poids, important pour sa taille. Livre réalisé d'après la thèse d'agrégation de l'auteur. Quelques chapitres du sommaire : embryogénèse de l'appareil thymo-thyroïdien, topographie et structure dudit appareil chez les mammifères et les vertébrés inférieures, étude biochimique des sécrétions parathyroïdiennes et thyroïdiennes, études des fonctions probables des glandes de l'appareil (avec d'intéressants passages sur le métabolisme des graisses et des glucides), études des phénomènes suivant l'ablation ou l'atrophie de l'appareil thymo-thyroïdien, etc.
