MARAINI, etnologo, orientalista, alpinista, fotografo talentuoso, scrittore e poeta, un Ulissa dal multiforme ingegno libero e pluriculturale, era già stato nel Tibet con Giuseppe Tucci, come fotografo nel 1937 e poi nel 1948. Questo articolo prelude a "Segreto Tibet", uscito nello stesso anno.
