4to. 4 pp. (120 lignes environ) & 3 pp. Très bel article de 4 pages manuscrites, avec corrections auquel on joint les épreuves, 3 pages avec de nombreuses corrections et une note "2-3 sept. 14 jour du départ pour Bordeaux". Dans cet article, Clémenceau évite les critiques "qui [lui] ont paru plus dangereuses qu'efficaces dans le moment présent". Il mentionne les premiers mensonges allemands affichant "sur les murs de Valenciennes un placard pour annoncer une grande victoire de ses alliés" quand l'Autriche subit une lourde défaite. On y voit aussi le jusqu'au-boutiste qui s'affirme, car "nous avons une population mâle valide où nous pouvons puiser encore un très long temps" et la dernière phrase se termine par les mots du titre: "A chacun son devoir et que nul ne s'arrête avant d'avoir fait le don complet de lui-même jusqu'au bout, jusqu'au bout". - Exceptionnel document. - Petites déchirures sans manque sur les épreuves, 2 des 4 pages manuscrites coupées anciennement en 2 entre des paragraphes. L'article est écrit au dos de feuilles à en-tête du Sénat.

Folge 24 der von Schönbauer Anfang der 50er Jahre gehaltenen Radiovortragsreihe; teils in Kurzschrift. - Schönbauer war Begründer der Neurochirurgie in Österreich und errichtete zusammen mit Karl Honey und Julius Tandler die erste Krebsberatungsstelle in Wien; von 1945 bis 61 Direktor des Allgemeinen Krankenhauses und provisorischer Leiter des Instituts für Geschichte der Medizin - dessen "Beiträge" er ab 1948 herausgab -, war Schönbauer zusammen mit dem Psychiater und Neurologen Hans Hoff und dem Internisten Karl Fellinger an den Planungen zum Neubau des Allgemeinen Krankenhauses beteiligt.
