This is a very good softcover copy with just light wear. Previously owned by Robert Thayer, the well known Connecticut antiques dealer, with his scribbled name and date on the front endpaper. Otherwise completely clean. This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the The Star of the Republic Museum in Washington, Texas in 1984. The exhibition featured the Lt. Colonel and Mrs. William R. Orbelo Collection of American Dueling Pistols. Exhibition checklist. Illustrated in color and black & white with photographs. Bibliography. 8" high X 11" wide, 39 pages. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.
Book with dust jacket, in box. In red cloth, price marked in pencil on title page with price code, otherwise book is As New, with no blemishes of any kind. Dust jacket has been price clipped at lower corner and is wrinkled a bit at edges, and creased at rear blurb, but is clean with no tears and very little edgewear. Box is Near Fine with light edgewear only. This issue's theme is "Collectors' Items," and features items ranging from picture postcards to Victorian statuary, and from artificial flowers to fossils.
