Although well known for his lobbying and fundraising efforts for Veterans and their rights his nativist anti-semitic polemics and activities in the 1930’s and 1940’s would severely tarnish his influence. The book is in Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The book covers have noticeable ground-in dirt. The edges of the cloth have wear and fraying. The text pages vary in condition from generally clean condition to foxed and toned along with a food stain or two. This is the second community cook book published by the Idaho Falls ID American Legion Auxiliary as the first one sold so well.
