The book is in Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The book covers have noticeable ground-in dirt. The edges of the cloth have wear and fraying. The text pages vary in condition from generally clean condition to foxed and toned along with a food stain or two. This is the second community cook book published by the Idaho Falls ID American Legion Auxiliary as the first one sold so well. Plain light-blue mimeographed covers bearing the crest of the legion to the centre of the front cover held with three-hole punched ring binding. Comprises of a list of the Legion's first organized in 1930 Presidents. Mimeographed leaves comprising a selection of recipes many accompanied with the names of their respective contributors. Sections include: Cakes and Icings Candy Cookies and Dainties Dinner and Supper Dishes Buns and Muffins Pickles and Relishes Salads and Dressings etc. Light rubbing and very faint spotting to the cover some hand-written notations to the recto of some leaves unaffecting legibility of the text otherwise contents remain overwhelmingly bright and unmarked; very good. Rare in commerce our offering being the only extant copy available at time of cataloguing. Unrecorded in OCLC.
