First edition of this Dealer’s showroom catalogue for the iconic 1968 Chevrolet Corvette which introduced the C3 body style featuring what became known as the “Coke Bottle†shape referring to the fenders which bulged out from the doors. The 1968 L88 Corvette was a limited production rocket and the new shape under Corvette Chief Engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov fixed the “aerodynamics of a bad airplane†of the C2 Corvette. The 1968 did not feature the Sting Ray or Stingray badging which would subsequently be continued through 1976 and was also the only year to feature the 15 in. by 6 in. tires.
