First edition of this scarce Dealer’s showroom brochure for the 1971 Chevrolet Stingray Corvette which included those heady few fitted with the LS6 425 Horsepower 454 now considered one of the rarest cars in the World. Designed by Zora Arkus-Duntov and his team the “Father of the Corvette†created a vehicle for speed which with the stock 350 could still produce 140 mph. the only American production car at the time capable of it. The 1971 Corvette Stingray was the final year for the fiber optics light monitoring system and the M22 heavy duty 4-speed manual gearbox and for the first time air conditioning was installed in a majority of those sold.
