Six audio cassette tapes. Circa 1994. We have not listened to these tapes but they appear to be a compilation of oral memories of World War 2 from members of the South Saskatchewan Regiment. Speakers include: Lt.-Col. Cec Merritt, VC; Maj. "Lefty" White, C.S.M; Ed Dunkerly; Murray Osten, M.C.; Pte. Paul Delorme; Pte. A. "Schelley" Schellenberg; C.S.M. Elmer "Gunga" Dean, M.M.; Pte. Fred James; Cpl. Art Charnell; Herman Keys; Maj. Peter Watkinson (adjutant); and Les Moore. Each tape is rated at 90 minutes but we do not know how many minutes of conversation are actually recorded. Each tape comes with a labelled insert. Clean and unmarked with light wear. Book
